Ep.3 Where There is will, There is Problem.

Ep.3 Where there is Will, there is Problem.

I have a choice here: 1. To run away and find a solution to get out of the jungle 2. Wait for the gorilla, expecting him to bring something to eat. I did give a thought to this; if I wait for him, I'll get food but I can't depend on gorilla for my survival. And so, I decided to part my ways with him.

After walking a few miles I found apples and few berries to suffice my hunger. Finally, my mind started to work again and instead of thinking about the past regarding how I got here, I started to think about my current situation and how I shall get out of this jungle. It was dusk already, my mom used to say whenever you find yourself lost just look up in the sky and try to find the North Star, the brightest star, it will show you the north direction.

So I found the star and started to walk in the north direction. The nights are the scariest in the jungle, you can hardly see anything. In that pitch dark jungle even the little voices that you hear scare you the most like the noise of the crickets, owl, and the worst thing are fucking spiders! Every time I moved ahead those spider webs got stuck to my hands and face. Although spiders are fascinating to see, it creeps you out when they start crawling on your leg. Your whole body shivers as and when they slowly crawl up your leg.

It was cold and I had no shelter but I had to survive the night. I closed my eyes to concentrate on finding ways and in that moment I heard sound of water gushing. I was happy with the hope that this might be an island and reaching a sea shore would be beneficial for me, so I started to walk towards the direction of the sound. But what I found was a big waterfall. I used to go in nature camps and trekking so I knew how to create a campfire. So, beside the river I made my small campfire to keep me warm and fall asleep.

When I woke up I found my hands and legs tied to bamboo getting carried by tribal people. I was like Arey Bhenchod! Those people had skulls on their heads wearing animal skin on their bodies and there were bones hanging around their waist. Their faces were covered with white powder and a big black dot on their forehead and their teeth were red. I don't know where they were taking me, I tried to talk to them but they spoke a different language. Language which had no words and no it was not love.
