Ep.8 Who am I?

The whole floor lit up and few minutes later it started to shake. I was holding Anne's hands and the floor began to go down. I was flabbergasted with what I saw. It was approximate 3500sq.ft hall, it looked like a sci-fi scene. Right in front there was a big screen computer with a control panel, Anne used her passcode to open a drawer. It had a metallic texture, it got lit up with LED and made a swoosh sound as it opened up. There were high grade military rifles in the drawer, other drawer had guns and grenades.  On the right side there was a big cupboard which Anne opened up using retinal scan and passcode. It had kevlar suits and bulletproof jackets. I was confused seeing this. I asked Anne ,"Can you tell me why I am in this jungle and why I can't remember anything, I want to go home to my bed." She chuckled and said, "You are no ordinary citizen." I saw myself in the mirror and replied, "I look normal. What's different about me?"  " Y...

Ep.7 Main Thera Raha, Zameen Chalne Lagi

Ep 7. Main Thera Raha, Zameen Chalne lagi There were people shooting at us like hell. There were five men who seem to be keen to kill us, one bullet flew by just an inch away from my ear. I saw Anne running to a big rock to take cover, so I followed her. Anne took a quick glance to know their positions. She taught me how to unlock the gun, reload it and shoot. She said, " There are two people on my right behind the trees, You will shoot to create a distraction and when they'll come out to shoot back I'll take the shot." I slowly raised my head to take the aim and pointed my gun to shoot. I pulled the the trigger and the bullet hit straight to the tree and as she said both came out to shoot back. She had positioned herself in an angle where she had clear shot on them and she hit the bull's eye. " Phatt se HEADSHOT!!" After the other three men found their team-mates dead, they started to shoot at us like hell. Their were out of bullets and this was the win...

Ep.6 What The F*#K!!

Ep.6 What the F*#K!! I slowly moved my hands away from my face to see who she is. I was mesmerized by her beauty. Her eyes were sparkling brown in which I just got lost. She was wearing a dark green tank top with khakee shorts, a utility belt around her waist and carried a bag-pack. She also had guns. She helped me get up and suddenly hugged me. I had mixed feelings about this- 1. I was on the top of the world! Life started to look good and I looked at the sky with content saying, “ Wah upparwaale! ”.  2. Why is this woman hugging me? Why did she save my life? How does she know to throw those blades like that? Was she a ninja? I moved away little bit and asked her who she was? She stared at me and said, “Don’t you remember? I think they have erased your memory. What is the last thing you remember?” “The last thing I remember is that I had fallen off to sleep on my bed and when I opened my eyes I was in this freaking jungle. But what are you talking about erasing memory and e...

Ep.5 The Lovestruck

Ep.5 The Lovestruck I climbed up and took a sigh of relief. I slowly stood up with the support of the stick and saw those tribal folks staring at me. I looked back at them and noticed that they were slowly coming closer to me. I got scared and started to walk backwards. I soon realized that I had reached the edge of the cliff, I had no way to run now. Fighting them was the only choice I had and so I raised the stick pointing towards them. They took a step back in fear. I began to walk ahead step by step swinging the stick to scare them off.  One of the tribal came running towards me to catch me and I immediately swing the stick on his face. What a relief it was for me. His whole head started to bleed. Later, two more men came to get me and again I hit one guy on his face. Another one came really close to I tried to hit him but he caught the stick and punched me in the abdomen. The pain was unbearable; I folded my hands in pain and lay down on the ground.  They caught me and ti...

Dr. Kaushik M Oza

Dr. Kaushik M Oza I was in a college-cum-hostel Gurukul in Abu Road, Rajasthan where I was pursuing Chartered Accountancy Course. The college was good, it had big classrooms which had projectors for presentation purposes. One flaw in the institution was the management. They really had poor management and delayed decision making when required. A Man of Action was required in the Gurukul who can make things happen. It was Sunday morning, I was having my breakfast with a cup of tea in the hostel canteen where an auto-rickshaw parked itself in front of the doors to our hostel. There were rumours in our hostel that a new dean is suppose to come as the previous one was inefficient. We all gathered near the door to have a glimpse of the person who has arrived in our gurukul. We saw an old man, seemed to be over-weight, was paying his fare to the auto-driver and called a man to take his luggage and send it to his room. My first impression of this man was that he was jolly i...

Ep.4 The Jump

Ep.4 The Jump While the tribes carried me, I heard them talking to each other in a very strange language. A language which had no words. They had their conversations by making sounds, "teek teek tuk khaaak shi bo t'chaku". I started to feel numb as I had been hanging on the bamboo for hours. However, along the journey I witnessed nature at its best.  We had to walk through a bridge where to the right side I can see the waterfall where I had camped and to the left I can see the whole forest which spread beyond the horizon. The bridge was fragile and we were way above the ground. Walking on that bridge was like walking on a rope between the two trade towers in USA. Neeche dekh ke mera toh gaand hi fatt gaya.   The Bridge was so delicate that even the slightest change in weight could break it. That's what I thought. We were 15 people including me, 8-10 people were ahead of me and rest were behind me. As we were getting close to the other side, the people who were behind ...
